Walt Disney World is an adventure not only for kids but for the adults as well.  First of all I have to advise you to wear REALLY comfy shoes because there is a LOT of walking and a lot of lining up to do.  Make sure you have cool clothing, and as much as I want to say come light, I know by the end of the day you will end up with lots of extrastuff especially if you have kids.

One can never get enough of Disney World, and being one of the most famous tourist attractions in USA, one can expect a lot of people during the school holidays.  We really had no choice but to go during the holidays because of our kids but as soon as we drove into the Magic Kingdom’s gate we knew we were in for a lot of waiting time.  The arches were pink in color and it sure got the girls excited, they wanted to see castles and find a prince.

My most memorable were the parades; they had one in the afternoon and one in the evening.  Unfortunately the evening parade pictures didn’t turned out quite right so I won’t share them with you.  The children were armed with autograph books too for they wanted to get to mingle with the Disney characters.  But alas they had to stand in line and wait unlike at the Tokyo Japan Disneyland where they ran up to the characters they love and got the autographs.  They did get autographs of Cinderella, Minnie Mouse and also Mickey.

We headed for our rides and the boys loved the Pirate of the Caribbean ride and as much as we hated to get wet, the Splash Mountain was the one we went on several times, of course more lining up.

We had so much fun!!  The kids wanted to go to Walt Disney World as a yearly vacation but soon they will be too old for some of the kiddy rides.  The next time we go to Walt Disney we are getting those discount Disney world tickets, just because most of the rides were closed and we had to pay so much and it didn’t really feel worth it.  Had I known earlier I would definitely have checked those discount tickets first.  Don’t forget to stay for the incredible fireworks show at the end of the day, that was an event the kids and us adults watched before heading back to the hotel.

As you can see, I have one very tired kid here after walking and playing the whole day.
