Truth be told.. when i was asked to go for a trekking expedition in Kathmandu, Nepal.. i was a wee bit apprehensive.  Why..??  because i was not fit enough and one need to be truthful to oneself especially when you may be the cause of the safety for others who are in the same group as yourself.  But I wanted to do it .. to proof to myself .. that I can do anything if i put my mind to it.

Before going for the trekking trip, we had to join a group of people who are trained to help us get all geared up and trained us into the fittest condition for this mountain climbing expedition.  All the  outdoor gear that we needed were also shown to us during the training sessions.  Of course, there were the climbing gear that we needed to buy as well even though you can rent them at the mountain stations.  But if you are an avid climber .. and you are enthusiastic about climbing mountains .. like some of my friends, then the North Face clothings are things you may want to get for your every adventure. They have men’s clothings, women’s clothings and even footwear, and of course, all the camping gear you need for your expedition. And i hear that at Mountain Gear, they do the price matching thing, whereby if you find the same item anywhere else in US or a US dealer, they will match that price.  I love shopping with the American companies.
