Leeds, UK |

If you have ever owned or played “Monopoly” the board game when you were young.. you can definitely associate yourself with Leeds, because this was where the famous board game was founded. Many people think that Leeds, UK is only for factories and industrial buildings.. but we were all wrong.. because it is quite a cosmo place right now.. and you see a lot of tourists as well as businessmen/women traveling to Leeds not just for business but for vacations as well.
The clothing industry seems to be a big thing in Leeds but don’t forget to also visit The Royal Armories Museum built to house the national collection of arms and armour. And even if you are not the arty-farty type, you can still visit the Leeds City Art Gallery which is said to house some of the best collections outside of London. Don’t forget the Museum as well. They have many good hotels and for someone who loves food and night life so much, of course the brasseries and cafes are an important place for me to visit. And don’t forget to visit Harry Ramsdens for a truly traditional English affair, just a few miles out of town.
If you are into live music and pubs, you have to check out Leeds Guide where you can find just about anything and everything you need in Leeds. The Leeds Festival starts in about 23 days from today.. so don’t miss that too. North England’s only music fest has come a long way . .celebrating its 10th annual event. Don’t forget to join in the fun if you are there in August, and visit Leeds most romantic castle as well. There’s so much I want to do, I look at Welovelocal.com for all my traveling plans and places of interest I must not miss in Leeds.
