Windmills, Kinderdijk - Netherlands |

I was in Netherlands for a few weeks attending an exchange course and also to assist my ex-boss with some legal documents for signing. Our business associates told us that they had to bring us to view the windmills in Kinderdijk. Kinderdijk is a village in Netherlands.. and about a 2 hrs drive from the city. But you can opt to take a tour boat through the Rotterdam port. No entrance fee but 3 euros for going into the windmill exhibits.
The windmills i heard were used to help with Netherlands drainage problems.. and to ensure that places with large area do not get flooded because some parts of Netherlands is below sea level. There were 19 of them but as you can see .. it was a long walk.

Taken during sunset, a pretty sight. Just a brief description of what i saw when I was in Netherland. It was very clean. .and the folks there were very enthusiastic about keeping their surroundings green and beautiful and no there were not dressed up in some dutch costume and triangular hats.. hahahha. Gardening was a big thing there… and I’ve seen some ppl scrubbed the pavement with a brush .. on hands and knees..! Now if everyone here would be this way here. The Windmills in Kinderdijk is more a touristy place but one should not miss it.
