Nova Scotia Loses The Cat Ferry
Posted by breading in Canada, Cruise, Nova Scotia, Useful Links 101 on 01 19th, 2010
Sometime before Christmas last year - Bay Ferries announced that they were cancelling their services between Bar Harbor, Portland and Yarmouth due to weak economy and no funding from the Canadian government. They did this without any prior warning it seems just as easy as using an acne scar removal . There was a big boo ha about this issue - because a lot of jobs will be lost and tourism which is already daunted because of the weak dollar - will close its gateway for the people from United States to not only Nova Scotia but Canada. So if you are planning to take the CAT to Nova Scotia - better make other plans. I know of many Americans who have holiday houses here in Canada -and I wonder how this is affecting them. I’m pretty sure some people ain’t too happy.

Been on a cruise lately..?? if you haven’t .. you might want to consider the world’s largest cruise ship that set sail today.. to Florida. The Oasis of the Seas is what it is called .. and it does have the state of the art traveling city, complete with shopping mall, several bars and restaurant. I hear it even has an outdoor amphitheatre the size of a football field. I know what you ladies are thinking about ? the spa right..?? i’m pretty sure they have awesome high tech spa on board with great spa filters for every room and the works. Yes..! it’s gigantic.. did i tell you that ..?? with 16 passenger decks.. wow..!!

I don’t know how much it is going to cost.. but i think it will be worth every penny you pay for. But the funny thing about such huge cruise ship.. one cannot but think of the titanic. Sure it is grand.. ! but what if something were to happen..?? hahahaha!! paranoia .. sets in.. in this helicopter mom.

Going on a cruise to Athens need not cost an arm and a leg - no, no silly, you don’t have to go in a shipping box . One can avoid paying more by bundling it up this fall by buying a combo package. Airfare, hotel accommodations and an island-hopping cruise - sounds awesome right..?? An 8-day tour that includes time spent taking in the sights of Athens and a 3-day Greek Isles cruise smack in the middle of your trip. Plus, you’ll also save with special reduced rates starting from $1,059 (normally $1,359) for an additional $300 back in your pocket. After flying from New York City, travelers are escorted from the airport to the four-star Titania Hotel located in central Athens.
Special Savings On Cruise West
Posted by breading in Cruise, General Info, Traveling Tips on 04 25th, 2009Thinking of a holiday..?? Save up to $1200 .. but book before 22 May and travel by April 12, 2010. Pretty good deal if you ask me.
Sailing away to an island in the sun is always a worthwhile getaway, but not having to share your tropical paradise with flocks of other tourists is truly rare.
Cruise West just announced new itineraries to Costa Rica’s Cocos Island, and in order to do so they had to receive permission from the island’s only inhabitants — a handful of Costa Rican Park Rangers. Not only will cruise passengers have the entire island to themselves, those who book ahead can also enjoy some remarkable savings of up to $1,200 per cabin.
Located between mainland Costa Roca and the Galapagos Islands, Cocos Island is said to be the largest uninhabited island in the world, and is home to over 60 species of animals that are endemic to the island — several of which are on the endangered species list.

Mediterranean Cruise

To cruise the Mediterranean was my dream and at first I was quite worried that my sea-sickness would ruin my holiday. However I’m glad to let you all know that I didn’t feel queasy at all, in fact the only time I did was when I was getting down from the cruise ship back on to land. Like most cruises that I had been on, the Mediterranean cruises boast of having the finest food and entertainment on board. With a 7 story high ship one cannot help but feel that you are in a fully equipped hotel.

The people I worked for in the UK had won a huge contract and gotten some big awards, therefore we were all given a 6 day cruise on the Mediterranean Sea. We were just finishing our project in Spain and flew to London to catch a connecting flight to Nice, France. Since we didn’t want to waste any time we decided to take a short tour around Nice for a couple of hours before embarking on our cruise ship in the late afternoon. Of course first came the mandatory safety drill for any cruise, then we took a short nap. The Mediterranean cruise was truly, truly amazing and we not only were in Nice, we visited Florence the next day and then headed to Rome. We covered a lot of places in such a short time. We also managed to visit Monte Caro and then headed back to Nice, France to end our week.

The evenings on the cruise ship were eventful and we ate and drink the night away. There were just so many things we wanted to do that we never thought we could. And truly amazing were the people on board the cruise. They were excellent, everyone was friendly and we had a ball. If you asked me if I would go for another cruise I’d have to tell you that I most definitely would. It is entertainment for the whole family and our Mediterranean cruise covered so many places that it was worth every penny the company spent.
Star Cruise

For those who have never been on a cruise vacation, then you’ll have to try it. No excuses about sea sickness and all.. because for someone like me who have got major motion sickness and i’m fine.. and loved the cruise.. you shouldn’t have any problems. The reason why i had no motion sickness was the ship was so huge and i didn’t feel a thing at all.
Cruises are so fun.. it was endless .. of activities for us. We stayed in a balcony room, where we can dine and dance or just soak in the sun there. That is the luxury of staying in a Balcony class room. With 13 decks of fun and activities for your to choose from. Restaurants, bars and nightlife outlets, cinemas, swimming pools and plus a life theatre. Just like a 5 star resort but on water.
Serving 6 sumptuous meal for all passengers, enjoy a fully equipped spa, massages, suana and steam room and foot reflexology as well. It is a holiday really away from just about everything.. and a truly relaxing vacation for a very tired working woman .. and the family. You know the kids will never get lost.. and they are fed endlessly and drink just about anything.. from juices to non-alcoholic drinks.. all day. You can play dressed up.. and dine at the Captain’s Table.. or just eat privately on your balcony… if you so wished to. Itinerary is entirely up to you. It’s a truly wonderful experience.. and you will love it so much.. you wanna come back over and over again.

If you didn’t read this from www.isbreading.org that can only mean one thing and that is this post had been plagiarized. I will report the idiot/website to google for plagiarism.
