I wasn’t shopping for furniture while on vacation per se – but I was definitely getting ideas of what kind of furniture we can get for our home and also our cottage whenever we are on vacation. I also loved to take pictures of potential furniture I would love to get when I am traveling and give myself some ideas on how to decorate our home and cottage. I also get to learn a lot of things when I am on vacation and like my grandma used to say – traveling is better than reading a thousand books. And yes, the cultural difference – the little tips from how to repair leather to how to eat a Banh Mi were all taught by locals of the various countries that I’ve visit and gone on vacation at. I’m very fortunate to see so many wonderful places and wonderful people and wonderful things – I can’t ask for more in life.
