One can expect Cardiff to be like any typical British suburbs in this part of Wales. There were rows of houses, all really crampy like on the winding streets. A few blocks away .. and you are on the main street where shops, pubs and lots of restaurants can be found. The pubs were affordable. .but definitely not cheap at all by asian standard. I wasn’t in Budapest for long.. it was just a stopover.. so we tried to make the best of the trip..and someone had told us. .we had to go to The Bory Castle at Székesfehérvár. Closed during the winter.. so we were kinda lucky to have arrived in the summer.
This i heard is a very popular place for tourists like us. Work of a Hungarian sculptor and architect, jeno Bory, the castle was built in the 1920s right up to 1960s. The castle contains a very wide range of architectural style. Most places in the castle is open to visitors..and you can feel free to even climb the towers.. or just walk the gardens and admire the sculptures. There are several galleries inside the castle that features some exquisite paintings.

Since i flew alot with United Airlines.. I thought I would show you some of the in flight food they served.. and this was only for economy class. I always choose the latest flight outta singapore.. and arrived in USA the next day… in the morning. So this was usually what the served as soon as i get on the plane. It wasn’t bad.. it wasn’t too much.. and was quite tasty.
Midway thru’ your flight.. they give you a snack box .. like this.. as you can see there was instant noodles.. and the flight attendants came around with the kettle. But the water wasn’t hot enough.. so my noodles weren’t really cooked too well. The cookie was nice.. since the instant noodles didn’t do it for me. And the banana .. i had kept till later. To be honest with you .. before visiting Prague.. i’ve always thought that it was kinda a communist country.. but many people told me.. that it is one of the most beautiful place in Europe. Old buildings and churches were the highlight of our trip.
The Astronomical Clock is a must not missed.. because it is so famous.. you cannot missed it.. as it is in the historic center in Prague. A pretty amazing looking clock.. it does a few things.. i heard. Made in the 1400, it has a calendar dial with medallions represent the months of the year. And Babylonian time, the old bohemian time, the German time and time according to the movements of the star. More on Prague in another post, watch out for it.

The Rock & Sole Plaice, London didn’t really get good reviews.. when i was looking for a good place to eat. But they really looked good.. and smelled nice.. when i was queuing.. and plus they had a really long queue.. so i didn’t think i could go too, too wrong. Located at Endell Street, I’ll have to say . .it didn’t taste the way it smelled. The batter was kinda thick.. and kinda hard . .and the chips although was hot was quite hard too. .and tasted abit like cardboard. If you were having it as a take away maybe.. it would be better because with a good vinegar dousing.. it might just make the cardboard feel work. The selection of fish was good though, but i was disappointed.
